Augmentas is now a member of the APMP

Augmentas has become a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP).

APMP is an Internationally accepted authority serving those whose role is to win business for their organisation. The association has developed a comprehensive body of knowledge dedicated to the processes of winning business through proposals, bids, tenders and presentations. It offers certification for professionals at foundation and practitioner levels, supporting training providers throughout the world.

With foundations in the USA and with a global presence, the guidance is not specific to any industry or geographic market. Best practice and associated educational material have been designed by practitioners to support professionals in real world B2B scenarios.

Over the next year, Augmentas is planning to build on the APMP Body of Knowledge (BOK) with our detailed understanding of UK Public and Private Sector commercial practice to help our clients to improve business development capability.

Our aim is to help clients establish sales and bid management teams, to qualify to internationally recognised standards with Augmentas supporting through ongoing coaching to respond to challenging and strategically critical opportunities.

The Augmentas team will be merging our thinking on sales and marketing maturity with the Business Development Capability Maturity Model (BD-CMM), so that we can continue to help our clients understand their progress and guide them to improve.  Our philosophy is that improvement can only be driven by local leadership and our role is to provide them with the support, tools and insight that they need.

Our training can be used to support CPD initiatives and will prepare people for internationally recognised APMP qualifications.  Preliminary diagnostic support is offered as part of our sales process and is provided free of charge.
